Thai food now in Pinoys taste buds! #JustThai offers great Thai cuisines in Prism Plaza, TwoE-Com Center, Manila Bay, Molito Alabang and Burgos Circle in Bonifacio High Street.
Lucky to be invited by a blogger mom and dear friend Ms Kathy Kenny Ngo of http://www.lifeiskulayful.com/, I was very excited to have a taste of the offerings of #JustThai. I met Hana of www.dollhana.com in SM Aura just after work and we had a quick catch up and walk to Burgos Circle where we are set for a review of the restaurant. #JustThaiBGC is very accessible to all those who works in BGC and Makati and even for those who wish to dine in a fine Thai hub nearby.
Early for the schedule, we decided to have a quick munch and saw Ruds of http://paresatbp.ph/ . After a few talk, we stood and started to walk. Spotted #JustThaiBGC across the street and we were welcomed by a very relaxing scent of the food palace. Adorned by intricate ornaments, you will feel like you’re in one of the temples of Thailand.
Accommodated by Sir Dwayne, we were served with a delicious beef salad and very thirst quenching Thai tea.
Kenny ordered the best dishes in their menu considering my “seafood situation”, The beef noodle soup came and oh, when I saw those chili floating, had my first sip, oh wow! yum! I’m a fan of spicy food and good thing, i’m not the only one in our table. It has that certain kick and and resonance of soury sweet taste. The beef was perfectly cook and it was so tender. Sprouts added the crunchy factor that elevates the texture to a happier mouth experience!
Chicken curry on a stick! also known as Gai Sate was one of the stars of the dining feast. The curry enveloped the humble chicken meat and partnered it with peanut sauce. It has a very interesting texture and taste that would make you grab another bowl of plain rice. Three more chix dishes joined the assembly, Chicken with basil and Chicken with cashews. though the flavours are almost the same, you will feel the difference when you bite the cashew on the other and taste the fresh flavour of basil bursting in the other. My favourite among the three, Chicken Pandan! peeling it off from the wrapped leaf is no issue at all. It’s an experience and I really recommend it. very very very delicious.
Pork lovers will definitely enjoy their version of liempo. grilled pork in tamarind sauce.
Seafood fanatics may try their Bagoong Rice, Crispy Fillet tilapia, and mixed seafood with basil
Thai restaurant dining wont be complete without Pad Thai. It’s love love love! i can’t think of any word to describe it further but its very delicious and it’s my favourite dish of the night! We also had Tamarind juice that was a little strong but good at the same time.
Tummy space was all set for desserts!! Tha Kho is like a soft maja blanca that tastes sooo gggoooddd!! yeah, i had more than one, uhm yeah more than two,, uhm alright alright! because i love it alot i had four and i wanted more!! lol.
Suman or biko and mango to the next level #JustThai style! you know those food which are plated nicely you don’t wanna eat and just bring them home to display? It’s one of them! lol oooww… it looks so innocent to strike a fort or knife! I did wait for them to cut the other servings first and had to close my eyes as Kenny took the liberty for us.
#JustThai is recommended for those who wish to have a taste of the dishes of Thailand and for those who are craving to taste something more than the usual fastfood. The ambiance is very relaxing and good for dinner date of a quite catch up with friends. Smoking buds can also dine in because they have tables and chairs just at the entrance. Parking spaces are available near the area and since it’s in burgos circle, there are security guards roaming around.
Overall, the experience was awesome, its nice to catch up with friends and meet new ones. price, dishes and place gets my two thumbs up! It’s very reasonable and it’s a p[ace fit for almost every occasion.
Basically, #JustThaiBGC is a restaurant i suggest for you to try.
