January 17th 2014, The Philippines pioneer in on-the-go hot porridge (goto /arrozacaldo) launched their branch in MetroWalk Ortigas with new and improved gastronomical offerings! A bolder and modern look for the new generation.
Humbly began in 1983 in Greenhills San Juan, The Goodah!!! Foodhouse Corporation introduced the Pinoys favorite food combo; Tap/Long/To – Si – Log (Tapa / Longanisa / Tocino Sinangag at Itlog ; Beef / Sausage / Pork,Fried Rice and fried egg).
Establishing their name satisfying each and every guest by exceeding their expectations in quality, service, cleanliness and value in each of their dining experience with them 25 HOURS A DAY, they now expanded their line of menu and aligned their programs to meet the demands of the growing market with the new owner and management, Soyamensa Foods Inc.
Hana and me
I was welcomed by a very warm smile by their PR Miss Tess Ignacio and showed me the table where my pretty friend Hana of Hanadoll.com were seated. We were having a quick briefing with a glass of their strawberry iced tea (yum!) when everybody was asked to prep up for the ribbon cutting.
Hana and I had an opportunity to have a quick photo op of our own just before the blessing and the shower of coins and candies. We saw a lot of eye catching chair tags saying “reserved for..” one for “sexy”, “gutom (hungry), “pogi”(handsome), macho and alot more!
We had a quick roam around the citadel and found hip stuff hanging in the wall and even in their washrooms!
Just after the ceremony, we were offered our first plate; rice, pork bbq, grilled chicken, their famous tapa and the one that i loved the most, their mixed vegetables!
Miss Tess dropped by and we had a fun conversation with her as we dine. One of their crew approached our table with a bowl of hot arrozzcaldo for me and Hana.
Dessert didn’t wait long, they also made us try their leche flan! Well i prefer eating the side and I made Hana ate the middle creamy part :p
When we thought the night was over, a right serving of halo halo was given to us to try. It’s very yummy! just enough size and just enough sweetness! (a must try!).
Complimentary wifi access is also offered for their guests.
Located near bars and office towers, I say this branch will be best for after club cool down or for people who wish to have something good just before they start their day.
I loved everything they served and looking forward to taste more of their food.
located at the back end of metrowalk, others might be challenged in looking for their hub but for those whose tummy craves for something good, they will find their way.
they have plenty so you dont have to worry.
They’re very accommodating but could use a little more smile from the crew. 11 spoons for Miss Tess whose been very fun to talk to and very energetic!
Value for money;
Price is very reasonable with ample quantity that will satisfy your tastebuds.
the experience in being one of the chosen bloggers to write up for their opening is very overwhelming and I appreciate and very honoured to feature a legend in food industry. They live up their value and principles, GUESTS FIRST!!! Pride, Integrity, Teamwork and Excellence in everything they do.
With a creative approach and innovation in style, flavour and ambiance, This store will definitely capture the attention of the yuppies but still satisfy the lavish Goodah!!! signature taste of the ones who grew up with them. I wish Goodah!!! Metrowalk branch and all their stores the best of luck and continue your legacy in being…
